The radiator is the most prominent part of the cooling system. Coolant that has traveled through the engine is pumped through the tubes of the radiator and is cooled off for another round.

Your radiator is a type of heat exchanger designed to transfer heat from the hot coolant that flows through it to air blown through the radiator by the cooling fan. As time goes on, your car's radiator builds solid deposits that can clog the cooling system.

Your vehicle's radiator and cooling system needs to be clean to be cool. Radiator flushes are recommended to winterize vehicles for winter and maintain cooling/heating system performance.

Thermostats should also be checked/ replaced to prevent problems.

Your cooling system has a number of rubber hoses that move the fluid from one place to the other. These need to be replaced before they become brittle and cracked.

Mike Galazka Service Centre offers complete radiator/cooling system maintenance and repair.
